Solid Roof House Extensions

Super Insulated Columns - Fitted into the corners of the solid roof house extension, super insulated columns do a superb job of providing the extension with improved thermal efficiency. They are constructed with a styropor-carbon enriched polystyrene core, before being wrapped with a porous membrane and aluminium cladding.

Tailored Glass Panels - Solid roof house extensions still allow natural light into the room through configurable glass panels. This glazing typically takes up about 10% of the overall surface area and can be installed wherever the customer needs them. This performance glass can be shaped to deliver superb internal aesthetics.

Insulated Pelmet - As with all our extension roof systems here at Premier Frames, the solid roof alternatives come with an insulated pelmet. Fitted around the perimeter of the room, they work with the columns to keep the room warm during winter. They’re also rigid enough to be able to hold the central lighting panels.

Central Lighting Panel - The central lighting panel helps improve the ‘room-like’ appeal of a solid roof house extension. It can be fitted onto any level areas on the roof, or around the perimeter of the extension itself. It’s sturdy enough to support spotlights, chandeliers and speaker systems, depending on the customer’s needs.

In-Line Columns - With a smaller extension, the corner columns provide more than enough insulation. However, for more significant builds, we manufacture in-line columns. These help improve the thermal efficiency of a larger extension, allowing your customers to use their solid roof house extensions all through the year.

Decorative Cornices - We at Premier Frames supply decorative cornices for these Ultraframe solid roof systems. Fitted externally around the perimeter, they conceal any trim and end caps as well as the roofline. Available in 1, 2 and 3 tiered options, they provide a stunning finish and are available in an array of colours.
